| Build-a-Bike for Kids
This is a unique and heart-warming activity that can be implemented in any workshop or event. Each member of your team will help build bikes that will contribute to the life of children. This bicycle building experience will touch your hearts, inspire your minds, and enhance your teamwork. It is filled with fun and excitement, as well as several team-building experiences that will make a dramatic and powerful impact on everyone involved.
Through participation in the Build-a-Bike for Kids experience, your team will gain a stronger feeling of team connection and more powerful motivation to achieve personal and team goals. You will also learn and practice powerful tools & techniques that will translate into improved teamwork, better communication, and increased productivity…and, you will bring huge smiles to the faces of children who may otherwise never have a bike.

Military Care Packages — Support Our Troops
Military care packages bring the comforts of home to our troops. According to Treats for Troops, "there are currently over 1.4 million men and women on active military duty with mail delivered to nearly two thousand military post offices, located in over 85 countries, including Navy and Coast Guard ships." While the military provides the basics of food, shelter and gear, all of these soldiers must use their military pay to buy personal items and treats. Even if they are willing to pay for them, some personal items are hard to find, especially in combat zones. Military care packages make soldiers' lives a little bit easier and more enjoyable by providing these extras.
Imagine running out of sunscreen in the desert, or just wanting a little taste of home instead of the usual MREs. A package of wet wipes may be the closest thing to a shower the troops have had all month. A book or magazine will help a soldier relax and escape reality for a few hours. Military care packages can take care of these needs and more while showing the troops that people back home are thinking about them.
Assembling these packages is interwoven with team building activities and possibly competitive challenges. It’s an awesome way to empower your team and give to others.

A rewarding and compassionate addition!
Whether you are located in an urban city of millions or a rural town, there is an organization in your community that can use your support. It might be a school, a civic organization, a children’s center, an animal shelter or dozens of other entities that would benefit from your help.
This addition to your day can be one of the most rewarding actions you can take as a team and as an organizati0n. What are you moved by?, what are you compassionate about?, what inspires you to take action?…these are all questions that are the central inquiry as to how you can support your community.
As part of your workshop or event, you can choose to add this Community Connection component to your agenda. In small teams you will have time to research the agencies and organizations in your community, choose one that you feel connected with, deliver a presentation to the other teams as to why your organization would benefit by choosing your selection, and after the final decision is made as to which community connection has been chosen you will make plans for how to be in service to them.
